Finding a contractor you can trust is like striking gold. When your home needs a repair or replacement, the last things you need are uncertainty and hidden fees. You want the job done right—on time and on budget. Is that so much to ask?
I don’t think so. That’s why, when I hire contractors in the Festus area, I’m looking for prompt customer service, an excellent track record, and, of course, the expertise to bring a project together.
As a realtor here in the great state of Missouri, my standard for contractors is higher than most. Not only do I rely on them for help with my home, but I need to be able to trust them with my clients’ houses as well. That means I’m looking for consistency and reliability in all areas.

Not long ago, we had a leaking basement in our rental home. The previous owner didn’t complete the drain tile in the finished half-bathroom, so Doug tore that bathroom out, let the drain tile team do their work, and then installed a full bath. I don’t know about you, but I like to keep rainwater right where it belongs: outside. When the roof of our rental home was leaking, I gave John a call, and he did an excellent job with the replacement. I frequently recommend his services to my clients.

Crises never look quite as dramatic in hindsight, but these companies understand the present-moment panic of a water leak, malfunctioning heater, or power outage.
